This Privacy Policy explains how Black Silver Technologies ("we", "us") handles information on the Black Silver Holdings website (the "Site"). We aim to collect as little personal information as possible.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

If you contact us or request an assessment, we receive what you provide, such as your name, organization, email address, phone number, project details, and message. We use it only to respond to your request and follow up about it.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and prevent abuse. We do not use this data to build profiles of individual visitors.

2. Cookies and browser storage

We use only the browser storage needed to remember your privacy choices. It is stored on your device and is not sent to us.

  • Necessary: stores your cookie preferences (key bst_cookie_preferences_v1). Always on.
  • Analytics: off by default. We do not currently run analytics tools. If we add them, they will load only if you opt in.
  • Marketing: off by default. We do not currently run advertising or campaign tools. If we add them, they will load only if you opt in.

You can change your choices at any time with the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of analytics and marketing.

3. Embedded video

Some pages may embed video from YouTube (Google) using its privacy-enhanced mode. Loading a video sends your IP address and browser details to Google and may set cookies. Embedded video stays off until you choose to load it. Google's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy.

4. How we use information

  • To respond to inquiries and assessment requests.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site and handle inquiries (for example, hosting and email), and when required by law or to protect rights and safety. Those providers may process it only on our behalf.

6. Retention

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterward for business records, unless the law requires longer.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or limit certain processing. 8. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
